This SW London terrace house was typical of the area – a narrow footprint but with a very long garden. Working within the Permitted Development parameters we extended as far as possible, creating a large open plan space.
The extension maximised the allowable depth, transforming the ground floor into a bright kitchen-dining area that opens directly onto the garden. Projects like this are common across Battersea and Clapham, where Victorian terraces offer great potential for rear extensions.
